i decided i need to post more because i have really good gifs as my avatar and signature and i missed looking at them and also i needed a good excuse to make fun of my sister really hard in a place she will (hopefully) never find

Other than dumb tba people messing with/posing as me on fb, the only one that sticks out to me is this girl that was my mom's friend's daughter. she always was obsessed with my older sister to the point that she would ask for her wedding invite every week.

Sometime on fb, I said I was in a relationship with my friend Jennie after I got dumped by my ex because at the time we were like "fuck it." Apparently this was a concern for this girl, so she messaged me.

She proceeded to then tell her father of her concerns, to which her father then emailed my father about it, saying that she was upset by this. as to why, i don't understand, but instead of questioning or damning me of my sexuality, my dad was like "check this stupid email i got."

everytime i go on facebook i get sucked in for so long looking at walls filled with these. its such a black hole

i'd definitely need to do some digging. my facebook is sectioned off by friends, internet people, family and church people from another part of my life. this way, i can hide certain posts from certain groups of people i don't want to see it, and i've hidden a lot of people's posts from my news feed. so old friends that have had kids and turned into mombies and only post pics of their babies, or people who post forwards from grandma tier jpg'd chain mail.. stuff like that, basically.

i'm sure if i go through my friends list i can find something worthy.. i already found some things. just posts, though

jesus fucking christ i have hit the jackpot on the most incredibly cringey, obnoxious and outright fucked up post of my sister, who honestly, i can't even believe is a real person sometimes. this is my sister, FORCEFEEDING her own fucking neuroticism on a little girl. this is her saying 'i don't want people to treat my child differently, but i will make them feel like a special snowflake who thinks they should get away with whatever they want in school because i have diagnosed her myself with a mental illness'

here's why this shit bothers me:

1. as one of two of the ONLY living "members of our family plagued by OCD" who has actually been fucking diagnosed, by a DOCTOR, BY SEVERAL DOCTORS, at different institutions across the state of maryland, years of therapy starting from the time i was eight, who is prescribed to take high levels of narcotics every day to keep myself stable, i am REALLY FUCKING ANNOYED that my sister feels the need to CONSTANTLY talk about ocd, her struggles with it, how her kids have it, how our whole family suffers from it, how it's so 'debilitating' to her, publically, on facebook. sure, i'm sharing my own struggles with you right now, and some of you don't know me at all! some of you have known me for years! some of you probably didn't know i had ocd, because i don't talk about it all the time, because i don't want sympathy for it, because i'm not michael j fox in that episode of scrubs or anything, not desperately trying to hide my moments of weakness or not trying to burden anyone, but because it's part of my life and i deal with it like other people with all kinds of ailments deal with it rather than constantly feel sorry for themselves and make every facebook post about it.

2. your kid is seven, please let her be a kid. i also like to be at the back of the line, you know why? cause i don't like being fucking rushed. maybe i wanna have some extra time to choose which mcvalue meal i am going to purchase. this is not always a sign of ocd or anxiety, sometimes you just have preferences. do not diagnose your child with something you have never even brought up to a doctor.

3. later on in the post she goes on to explain how her daughter 'seems unruly and disobedient but really it is her ocd' and she has decided to remove her from regular school and homeschool her. my cousin even asked 'have you spoken with a pediatrician about it' and she was just like 'no i'm just going to homeschool her' because she cannot face the possibility that.. MAYBE HER KID IS COMPLETELY NORMAL!!!! MAYBE SHE DOESN'T LISTEN IN SCHOOL BECAUSE SHE'S SEVEN!!! so basically what she is teaching her child, is that a. it's okay to not listen in school because mommy will save you and teach you at home instead b. you should get special treatment because "you have a disease" and c. that your weird quirks and personality traits you have that just make you you, must actually mean you are suffering from mental illness

yes, all of this. and it might seem harsh but i feel really lucky that my mom was like 'whatever deal w/ it i will continue paying for your therapy but you're not getting special treatment' and taught me that i control my ocd, it doesn't control me. if my niece does in fact have ocd, my sister is doing nothing for her but causing her to be more neurotic and feel like there is something so wrong with her she cannot function in normal society.

one time my sister was trying to humblebrag that someone said she reminded them of morticia addams and i was like 'i don't see it, people have told me that before though too and i don't see it either so idk' and she got super defensive cause i guess i was 'trying to steal her thing' and then yesterday on facebook i posted a picture (and i promise this is only mildly a shameless selfie plug) and someone said 'morticia addams' and she goes 'Really???....' and starts posting pics of herself, on my picture. She is definitely stable.

No rebellious teenager wants to ask their parents for help in learning how to sew on a button. How embarrassing.
Most of these things are easy enough to find out, though so is a lot of the other crap you get taught in school. Some others are easier to put off if you have one of those friends who are really into cars, because you know you can ask them for any solution to any problem when you come to that bridge. Obviously you could argue that if you're unwilling to learn the stuff in your free time (instead of posting Facebook pictures you think people will appreciate) then you don't deserve to know, but in any case I don't see much harm in having learned this stuff obligatorily in school. It would just kind of make a whole lot of sense to know more thoroughly the ins and outs of cars than a dead language that nobody uses.

A lot of people don't have anyone to teach them stuff like that though, because either their parents are working or don't give a fuck and all their friends parents are the same way and nobody talks to their neighbors anymore let's be real.

That said I don't think getting schools to teach it is the solution. It's like people want the nanny state to fulfill every parental responsibility so they can have an excuse when they realize they didn't put any thought into having children.

Lars is an untalented hack and has been since And Justice For All came out. Even in his prime, any of these people at their worst could have drummed circles around him. He was, at his best, competent, and honestly since the '90s he's slipped so far that even an untrained ear can tell he's off by a 16th note every damn hit.

Also their last great album was Ride the Lightning. Every song on Master is overlong, AJFA is about half good, but half bland, and the production fucks even the good songs all to hell, drowning out all bass. Don't even get me started on the Black Album or later material.

trump has a very good chance of winning too if you think about it. the DNC will not allow Sanders to become the nominee, and seniors - who favor Hillary - are turning out in much higher numbers than youth for the vote, making Hillary the inevitable democratic candidate.

Trump is destroying Rubio and Cruz on the republican side. one of them has to offer the other VP and have them drop out to have a chance at stopping him. the establishment already spent a ton of cash on Jeb and that turned out to be a waste. i think Trump will pounce on Rubio before Cruz does for VP and then you will have a Trump/Rubio ticket. Cruz is also unlikable and made the mistake of angering Carson voters with his lie for more voters in Iowa.

by the time the general election comes, Hillary will have been indicted for her email scandal and it will sink her campaign.  she can try to delay it as long as she can but there's no way she can hide the truth for that long. the people who already know how bad it is have advised her to drop out of the race, but she won't.
