I think it's time you all switch over to Opera (https://vivaldi.com) master race.
Think of the autoplays you'll miss if you hesitate.
i think chrome is doing this soon too, not just with flash but also java and silverlight, et al. at least, it keeps warning me that they will soon be unsupported. idk if that means i'll have to install it manually or use a 3rd party plugin to make sure they keep working.
fortunately autoplays can still be made with the power of html5
I bet a million dinero my computer can't run Operaldi.
haha
I don't mind HTML5 as an alternative.
Don't think I'll be moving over to Opera juuuust yet.
I'm down with whatever makes streams and videos run better.
So is the main reason browsers are offing flash because it is more venerable? And is adobe ending flash because it can't really compete with html5, like they cant really do anything to make it as powerful as H5?
there's a couple reasons why web standards are trying to phase out flash
1. it's slow, and even slower on mobile devices, where more and more people are using the internet
2. it's insecure and vulnerabilities are on adobe to fix since it's a 3rd party plugin
3. everything it can do as a web development tool html5 and js can do faster and better
4. it has largely outlived its usefulness outside of applications
the only problem is that flash is still used on a lot of major sites like twitch, and i don't know if they've developed any alternative. youtube, however, can completely phase it out at this point if they so wished
I don't understand people who browse the web on their phone.
Or do anything besides call or text on their phone tbh.

I thought I was the only one.
I have never used an app to this day actually.
I do take pictures sometimes though

websites developing their own apps is what they should be doing actually, it's using browsers on mobile devices that is an inefficient way to use the web. like, looking at tba on a phone is shit, partly because i never made a mobile friendly layout, but even if i did, the best thing to do would be to make a mobile app that is designed to only do certain things instead of just display a webpage.
websites becoming "mobile friendly" is one of the worst design trends to plague the internet

Does this mean well start seeing zone-tan on html-5?
