Could anyone show and tell me how to improve on this bit I have done? It's an inside-out animal exploding, and it looms awful.

ugh, why is this a google doc thing i have to download? just upload it here (http://www.thebackalleys.com/dump/) and embed it using the [ swf ] tag. no width or height required
