they got $2 from me
It hit the goal in a single day? Damn Internet, you impress me.
it hit the goal in 3 hours
western piggu rike anime, time to start airing some that isn't fucking naruto
$50 for the BluRay + Artbook isn't terrible, I'm considering it. It will be subbed in English though, right? I mean it'd have to be if the kickstarter is in english and aimed at western audiences.
It's crazy that all the $10,000 and $2,000 backer slots are already all gone
>$236,686 pledged of $150,000 goal

Stretch Goal - $500,000
-The Standard edition of the Blu-ray will be receiving an audio commentary and a making of Little Witch Academia 2 documentary.
-The Limited edition of the Blu-ray will be receiving an Original Sound Track and a Gengasyu (Line art collection book)
Well that's a tad underwhelming, kinda hoping for another episode or more footage. I guess I can't really complain though
apparently bundling an OST, documentary and audio commentary is more expensive than 15 minutes of animation
More money isn't going to change the fact that time is a constant. While the funds could go to making the episode longer, that means they'll have to push the release date back further and they said they didn't want to do that.
they don't necessarily have to put the funds into one single, longer episode. they could release the original on time and make more after the fact.
There's a new update on the page. In a nutshell, their plans seem to be to produce a 40 min episode, and if that is just as well received as the current one, then they may even consider trying to do a movie or series

QuoteI guess we are not so talented in doing business as we are in making animations.
