Allie decided that TBA needed a makeover this week, so she spent the last few days changing the layout (as you may have noticed). After the remodel, Allie ate 300 pizzas to restore her energy and evolved into Allie 2.0! There are still some finishing touches that need to be made, so if you see anything out of place, it may or may not have been noticed - feel free to mention it here. All praises, accolades and tributes may also be placed in this thread. -allie isnt showing up on the forum page (when im in the forum top right allie is just a black space.)
-on user pages the icon for stats is still the old color

this is presently unknown - as unbelievable as it may be, pizza alone may not provide enough sustenance for her next form.

wow looks really great! beautiful design job. my only complaint is the way highlighting text looks. now when it gets highlighted there isn't a huge contrast from unhighlighted text like there used to be but i'm sure i'll get used to it :P excellent work overall.

this is true, the problem with a light bg color for highlights though is that browsers have limitations for what color they can display, and it ends up looking really hard to read. so i just decided to make the text bright and the background as dark as it can be.

well i was using chrome but everyone told me it was evil spyware and i should feel bad for supporting google's evil technocratic empire so i was like "fine" and went back to opera because
- it isn't internet exploder
- it isn't firefox
- it isn't shit (like the above)
though apparently the new IE doesn't suck so much but whatever
the new ie is ok but i'm sure opera is better. it's just rare that i come across a frequent user /someone who willingly uses it on a pc
i guess they made more of a breakthrough with mobile devices or something? anyway, me and my tech-savvy cousin have been using it for just about as long as it's existed, it's a pretty ok browser since it comes with everything necessary out of the box and doesn't need a million plugins before it stops sucking shit
my cousin also insists it's faster than everything else, though i can't verify this (not like i give a shit if it loads up a splitsecond faster)
the avatar problem should be fixed now. it wasn't a browser specific problem, it had to do with avatar dimensions

You have probably noticed it already but notifications such as the ones for live streamings cover up a part of the navigation bar. I'm not 100% sure but as far as I can recall, the old version didn't have this flaw.

it did.. it's because the stream pop-up bar floats above everything else. you'll notice if you scroll down, it stays there. you can also close it with the red 'x' on the top right corner. that creates a cookie and it will remember not to show it to you again for another 3 hours or something. i forget how long

The theme is great and the website is working very efficiently.
So far, so good. I enjoy how my avatar can be seen on the top of the page next to my username, where it is very convenient to navigate through my personal mail and to check if I got any new replies. A great feature for a great forum!
