I don't know what problems you have with ms paint, really. I can draw way better in it than in flash.
ms paint just has less undos. in flash you can hit control + z around 50 times, with paint its 3.
also it doesnt have auto smoothing.

the paintbrush tool does weird out when youre drawing a straight line sometimes

paint is amazing, especially watercolor
you probably think it sucks because you can't use it
the reason why some people can draw a lot stronger in tools like mspaint and oekaki tools is because it's excellent for graphic artists. what more could ask for than a hard line that is straight on the pixels you just drew on. flash can never give you that, and photoshop can but you have to turn a lot of features off, you might as well just use paint . unless you want layers, but in that case you could just use paintbbs or something.
