Title: Seeking voice actors
Post by: Alta Don on February 28, 2013 01:50 AM
As of now, I'm working on a flash movie that I'm hoping to complete in a year or two. It's called "Little Puppy Pals!" which is about two slacking hustlers trying to make money off a little children's cartoon. Currently, I'm close to completion on the script but I am in the need of 2 voice actors at the moment. These are the 2 characters that are in need of a voice:

Dimitri (in his 40s, boss of an office establishment, based off of Bill Lumbergh of Office Space) is in the first scene of the movie and he is responsible for firing the main character.

The Mother (in her 50s, mother of a 20-something nerd who lives in the basement) is very loving and is very innocent sounding. She is the kinda mother that is completely satisfied with all of her son's actions.

If you are interested in voice acting for my cartoon, please let me know. Thank you.

I think sin should voice both characters.

But on a more serious note, I would recommend getting some of the animation (or at least stills) ready to show potential VAs. You know, just to show you're somewhat committed to the project. Then again if you find someone here, chances are they aren't going anywhere anyways.

This is true. I have been way more focused on the script then the art direction itself. I'm not that great of an artist but it would make to show off how the cartoon will look. I'll prepare some stills of the characters real soon.

As for the others who are interested in voice acting, I'll message you the only scene which features Dimitri.

try hitting up the "voice acting alliance" (this might be bad advice i don't know)

I was actually contemplating whether to do that or not. Once I get some stills done, I might as well give it a shot.
