I haven't been here since the days of trolling Newgrounds with weird collabs. What's goin on folks? Are most of you still animators? Anyone trying to make it professionally now?
weird i saw a hilarious post by you a few days ago and wondered where you ran off to. even though i still watch you on dA and fb. but welcome back! you may or may not know but i worked on (and hopefully working on future content for) skullgirls and am currently part of a visual novel dev team. other than that i mostly do a lot of web design and video work - that stuff really pays the bills, but i get to work from home so it's been awesome.
i know you worked on that family movie, i saw the animation for it it was great. but i didn't see the movie.. i don't think i would enjoy it no offense.
Haha, that's okay, you probably wouldn't enjoy it that much. A lot of my friends were excited to see it but I had to let them know that the target audience is pretty much 10 year old girls. It was fun to work on though.
Since I graduated over 2 years ago I've been working on a ton of different things but none of it has been as fun or rewarding as when I could just do whatever I wanted. (But that's life I guess.) I only just recently moved out of the house and got an aparment in Chicago. Lately I've been working on a weird animation for Doritos and with a start-up company that makes e-learning courses. This year has been really rough so far but I feel like now everything is coming to fruitition. Maybe soon I'll have the time and money to work on my own projects again.
I did know you worked on Skullgirls! It looks amazing and I would have bought it just for the art, but sadly I don't have an X-Box. ;_;
i haven't bought it either.. i have an xbox but not xbla. my friend gave me his 360 cuz he never used it but it just sits around in my apt. but it is coming out on steam though.
is the doritos thing through the same company you did the cereal commercial stuff for?
Hey man, how the hell are ya? Welcome back

Nope it's a completely different guy. That place I did the cereal stuff for is really hard to get work from now because they changed a lot of their stuff to CG, so they're overstaffed with 2D animators.

Thanks, mister. I'm doin pretty good.
that's too bad about the cereal ads. they were the last bastion of 2d animation on tv commercials. ;_;
although i did see a 2d animated commercial about not texting and driving recently. i can't find it on youtube though
I saw that movie you did animation for at Wal-Mart.
