show's pretty fantastic. the first 6 episodes are already around the web and it's the best cartoon i've seen in awhile. i actually like it more than adventure time/regular show/etc.

i've heard good things about this, and it's a mandatory watch for me because neil hamburger does the voice of a character (toby determined). i've been meaning to check it out but it's never on when i actually watch TV.
I've been watching it and so far I've really been enjoying it. There's one thing that irks though, they don't seem to have decided on whether the characters have 5 fingers or 4 fingers. Some characters have 5, others 4, or the number of fingers will change between shots a lot. Otherwise, the animation is really well done, that opening is goddamn gorgeous. Also, Thurop Van Orman voices a character who's most likely recurring.
yeah the first time i noticed that was on the lil' gideon episode when he had 5 fingers and dipper had 4. but what really made it obvious is that lil' gideon's hands are way smaller so they look all clustered compared to dipper's.
still as far as everything else goes i love it. the 5th episode's my favourite so far, and i absolutely love the opening.
Yeah, I noticed it first during the gideon episode too. The wax museum episode is really good too.

the code things in the end credits are neat
yeah the codes are interesting, also im assuming they'll have the finger thing figured out at some point cuz im doubting anyone making it didnt possibly notice it when footage came back

hi jake, not trying to make you look like you dont kno what youre talking about or anything but disney has been at the forefront of almost every single major stride in the animation industry from a technical and cultural standpoint being the first to produce animated films with sound, the first to produce animated films in color, the first to produce an animated feature length film with completely computer generated imagery and I could go on with this list, but the point I'm trying to make is that I would go so far as to say that there would virtually be no 'animation industry' at all if it weren't for the disney company

Yeah, I use it with Firefox cuz otherwise it's AD CITY!!!! but it's pretty good. Mainly the best links are GorillaVid, DaClips, MovPod and a few other ones. I use it to watch a lot of shows but yeah it does look kind of shitty. Works though. Also this week's episode was hilarious. Super self-aware clone episode.

yeah i just watched that episode and seeing a younger grunkle stan really interested me. i hope they show more of his past (they probably will, this show actually enjoys delivering on its promises)
i saw my first gravity falls ep today with the paul robertson guest animation. it's a really cute show. i need to watch the earlier episodes though so i know more about the characters.

I have started watching this show recently after remembering that most of you really liked it. Can't believe that it's still not finished yet. I have more or less caught up by now and I really enjoyed it so far. Anyone else hype for the upcoming finale or have you more or less lost interest over the years?
there was a long break between seasons. yeah i'm looking forward to the finale. sad that it's ending, but happy that the creator is ending it on his own terms. would hate to have seen gravity falls drag on and jump the shark at some point. although that'd be hard to do for a show as weird as gravity falls.
