i am working on modifying an installation of wacintaki poteto so you can all use your forum accounts on the oekaki to make art and share it on the forum easily. it's going to take a while but i'm going to do it. for those of you who aren't familiar, oekaki is a web-based drawing board. you can use a number of different web applications in the oekaki to draw, save your files and even watch replays of you drawing it. people can leave comments on your work and it can be a lot of fun. here's a demo of wacintaki (http://www.ninechime.com/coonikaki/) on the official site.
i will allow nsfw art but nothing illegal or excessively gorey. i'll post updates on this topic whenever i make significant process. the current task is getting the user database on the forum to match the one in wacintaki.
it'd be cool if an oekaki like this attracted more artists

So are the drawings viewable here on tba? Or is it also uploaded to the site from which this thing originates (sorry I don't know what to call it, a widget?)
you draw inside your browser window with an applet hosted here at the site, and then they are uploaded and stored here as well. no external applications load outside of your browser and no installation of anything is needed (unless you don't have java but most people already should)
this is super cool and will hopefully get me to draw more casually

shipainter and shipainter pro are almost 100% . only 3 more after that, then some minor stuff like comments and the layout and it's ready to launch. :)

i've run into some trouble with chibipaint and paintbbs. but i'm sure i'll figure it out soon, and once i do it'll pretty much be ready to launch.
I just got my order for replacement nibs for my tablet pen, and I decided get the extra fancy felt tip nib. But im saving it for the grand opening oekaki special day. :drool:

this is why chibipaint is my favourite oekaki software to use!!!
ok, i figured out why chibipaint is not working. but i can't fix it yet cuz i just realized i made a much bigger mistake, which i can also fix.. but it will just take me some extra time. first i need to get some sleep. if i work hard, i can launch the oekaki within the next 24 hours!
