It's kind of interesting how fast all the hate shifted from activision over to EA, especially with that apparent mass effect 3 ending fiasco.
While it's probably obvious, I would guess the main reason EA won was just because the kind of people who hate EA make up a majority of the voters, since they are all internet people. I'm sure over 90% of them wouldn't be able to say why almost all of those companies listed (i.e bank of america, etc) are bad in any way, and just took an uneducated vote because they hate one company and are oblivious to the faults of everything else.
It's easy when you go with the flow man. Keep that hate flowing, internet.
got to tour the studio in CA for nerd camp and the lady who led us around showed us the cafeteria and the employee store and then kicked us out. nothing related to what they did as a company was shown

the ending of Mass Effect 3 had not a single thing to do with that.
It's basically only that EA creats DLC, which it releases WITH their games but offer for money. Usually, DLC is something you finish developing after the game finishes. What they're doing is making complete games and withholding content from whoever buys their shit. (ME3 is a prime example though, there's some alien race that was released as DLC on releasedate of ME3, which is crutial to the storyline).
They did the same thing with BF3 - withholding guns or something but later, due to pressure of the community, they offered them for free anyways.
that is part of why they're a bad company but i still think that ea only won because of all the gamers raging over the me3 ending cuz that's what most people were complaining about

I don't know why so many people whine about the ME3 ending, it was a mediocre game all the way thourgh!
