Title: Gaming-Album Mixtures
Post by: BluPhoenix on March 25, 2012 04:18 AM
this is where you post surprisingly good mixtures of games and background music, and see if you want to try any of those mixes yourself!

it's easy! just play one of your favorite games, leave itunes on, and post what you think makes the best mix!

some of mine-

just cause 2 + tron legacy (daft punk)
battlefield 3 + the father of death (protomen)
starcraft 2 + kid a (radiohead)
team fortress 2 + alive 2007 (daft punk)
civilization 5 + age of the understatement (the last shadow puppets)
stalker: SoC + furious angels[instrumental] (rob dougan)

i can't listen to music while playing a game, it's too distracting. plenty of games have good soundtracks anyway

yeah I only like to play music during multiplayer games (with no notable multiplayer soundtrack). Otherwise it just takes away from the experience

+ the father of death (protomen)

You can put Protomen to any game and it will instantly make it more epic.

Also:
Ghost Recon OST - Starcraft 2
Dragula - Gran Tourismo 5

Those are the only ones that have been pretty good so far.

The only games I play while listening to another soundtrack are Age of empires and minecraft, and even then its nothing in particular, just albums I downloaded and hadn't gotten around to listening to yet.
