Title: recent things that you think will be iconic in a few decades time

by 'recent' i mean anything past 2005/2006

i think the inverted scorpion jacket from drive will go down as one of the most memorable pieces of film gear, along the lines of the delorean, lightsabers, indiana jones' hat and matrix trenchcoats

i think the lord of the rings movies had enough culturalimpact that people will still be talking about them for about 10 years, then again in 40 years when they become "antiques"

harry potter. i also think around 2020 or something someone will try to remake the movies just CAUSE

They'll probably do it the way Spielberg originally wanted. Set in america staring Haley Joel  Osment, or his 2020 equivalent.
