i think both "i'm pretty awesome" and "i hate myself" are pretty extreme responses, but i think that made it more interesting. i mean sure you have to have a big ego or cripplingly low respect for yourself to say things like that publicly, but i feel like they're things a lot of people will think about themselves (even if they don't directly state it or have an ego) at different points in their lives so they made sense on a poll, where all the answers are anonymous

on that same note, i bet if i made this just a thread with no poll and people had to actually type out what they'd say, there would be less results and some people may change what they think.

although to your point some of the people who did respond to the "i'm pretty awesome" one in this case either have an ego or are just playing, so i'll change it to "i'm pretty alright" and see if it clicks better for some people, same with "i hate myself" i'll change it to "don't like" and see what happens

well this thread's results are pretty much what i was hoping for. i was worried everyone would put neutral but there's some pretty honest feedback in this, good job guys

i made this thread because i often jump from feeling really awesome about myself to regretting being unproductive in my earlier teen years, it switches up easily every other week, and i wanted to see if that happened to other people. since it's got more votes than anything else, i'm pretty happy.

i'm generally an unhappy person unless i'm making comics or kissing ladies
