Title: Winnie the Pooh
Post by: Thor on July 20, 2011 03:09 AM
So with all the excitement over Harry Potter last weekend, it seems that the last Disney animated feature got completely overshadowed, which is a pity because it's actually amazingly well done. The character animation in it is absolutely gorgeous (actually this is going to be my go-to example of character animation with personality) and the script won't make you feel like an idiot-- it's actually very well written (and self aware, which makes it all the more funny. Without spoiling too much, there are many times where characters wreck the lettering of the book and rain down letters into the scene)

did I mention it's adorable? Because it's quite possibly the most adorable thing I have ever seen. Seriously, I felt my lifespan extend by 5 years.

But yeah, go see it. If you have an inner child you'll be giggling your head off throughout the movie

i went and saw it tonight with jenna. really short movie, just over an hour. there isn't much of a plot or a crisis, it's relatively simple and light hearted. but it's really funny and it was beautifully animated and the backgrounds were amazing

i saw this with my girlfriend. i was wearing my contacts and they were absolutely destroying my eyes so i had to take them out. i have horrible vision without them, so i could barely see anything on the screen :( it was disappointing as i wanted to see the animation. i was pretty excited for that.
