I just read the first few chapters, and I'm in love with it
for those who don't know, It's a manga about these two guys who want to be pro mangaka. It's from the guys who made Death Note, and from what I've read, It's really intriguing

On that note, I've heard Being a mangaka for a weekly serial is really difficult.
For Weekly Jump (the magazine that Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, Bakuman and others are in), you have to bring in a 20 page spread, and multiple colored illustrations every week.
here's a schedule of an anonymous mangaka

Seems like being a mangaka is a tough life to live, very different (a lot more serious, too) compared to comic artists in North America. Only three hours of free time is killer, but I guess if it's something you really love doing it wouldn't matter. I'm a huge fan of Bakuman though. I really like comics so it's super cool and inspirational and junk.
somebody goes to sankaku complex
