i think they should just stick to classic controller design

after all these years the wiimote still feels like a gimmick to me

That's basically what they're doing

here is a "rumored" (most likely fake) concept of the controller and system

that would be a pretty cool controller imo

yep, not a false leak. That's concept art for the controller.

It's like a dreamcast controller on crack.

Also if they did do that I bet controllers would cost a lot more than they already do

apparently the console pack will cost around 350-400$ and will include more than one controller already. So that's "somewhat" of a good deal i guess, for 2 (or more) controllers with a 6 inch touchscreen and the console itself with probably one game included.

Post by: rtil on April 25, 2011 11:01 PM
why oh why does the controller need a touch screen
Title: the TBA Project Cafe thread
Post by: funzop on April 25, 2011 11:09 PM
cuz its nintendo and they can do shit like that which would fail and make any other company go bankrupt and sell millions of copies anyway while the rest of the gaming world wags their fingers and plays their call of dutys

I have connections to this guy that has access to proof that in the late 80's there were computer co.s that were developing CG games with better graphics then todays king game developers. Its a money game. They wait an allotted time to release a better game counsel when they know perfactly well the graphics are like 10 worse then what has already been developed.

i think you're vastly underestimating a valve fanboy's capacity to blow money on shit they don't need, like the whole "potato sack" fiasco with portal 2, and all the ridiculous microtransactions that take place in tf2 and portal 2. i'm sure if valve took advantage of this more they'd have people dishing out their wallets just as often as the nintendo crowd.

well the potato sack was technically a good deal if you actually wanted to play those games but that's true

i guess i never thought people ACTUALLY spent real money on hats for their digital characters but what do I know!!!

you have no idea..

yesterday i saw a hat on tf2 "on sale" for $7.45, it's the biggest thing on the menu

i'm sure it help support the game's development, and you don't have to buy them, but i do think it cheapens the integrity of the game and the company

They have hats that are almost $30 bucks. $7 is like the average price of most of them not on sale.

Although in the defense of humanity I feel like I don't see that many people with expensive hats. Still a fucking rip off
