Well I'm in of course

Keep an eye out for some of the people hanging around in the channel that may want in but aren't tba folk, I've seen a few of them this past week.

Maybe we could start some form of TBA SC2 tournament blog thing and just move everything over there.

Actually that's a horrible idea.

Or is it?

there does need to be an easier way to get ahold of everyone, but we dont' need separate subforum for it or anything like that.

Maybe we could set up an email or something and just give to all the potential contestants. We could then just send out a weekly message with tournament details and say "reply" if you want in.

I don't know though, that still may be inconvenient, but probably good for non-tba'ers

that's probably the best idea, then we just have one TBA tournament topic for discussion.

the reason i make the multiple topics is to keep track of individual scores and replays for each week.

Okay I have another suggestion how we can do this. We can do it the same style we do tournaments here on tba. We have one thread that only sev posts in that will contain the tournament match ups (and ultimately replays) for every week, and then one thread for any discussion.

There

hilariously enough, only 2 of the omega matches've been played, as we're missing a slot, so if you guys have anyone around omega-level who's interested in participation, feel free to throw him in.

also, these tournaments are currently "fortnightly", as in every other week, starting on friday. therefore, every tournament has a two-week deadline for the end of the matches, which gives us plenty of time to get every match done, and allows contestants to practice more.

omega matches are now always best of 1's, unless the players decide at the start of their first match that they are in mutual agreement on playing a best of 3. matches can be no higher than a best of 3. the finals will also be a best of 3.

alpha matches will now be bracket-based, then a best of 3, then a best of 5. the bottom players of each bracket will have to play a best of 3 survival match against  to stay in alpha.

the optional but incredibly badass championship match (champion apparent vs defending champion) will be a best of 7. the defending champion (currently poogs) will stay as the defending champion until beaten in this EPIC TRIAL. needless to say, only alpha champions will be able to fight the defending champion.

I HAVE SPOKEN
