user scores are considerably lower than critic ones though

sure some are gay fanboy puke-outs, but usually it's a good idea to read the negative ones first to see if they have any valid points

for instance the game is apparently simplified compared to the last one, and has fewer characters while DLC has been announced, which reeks of money-grab

There's less characters I assume because compared to Marvel vs Capcom 2 which was essentially a massive copy and paste from their past fighting games, this one was completely built from the ground up. Thats going to take longer naturally. They can't take too long on it because Capcom or whoever calls the shots wants there money asap and the longer it takes the more money it requires. So yea it's all about money but I don't find a cast of 30 some-odd characters from a new game to warrant a complaint. The DLC however is pretty gay but thats what this shit is all about. You sell this shit to make money and DLC has introduced another way of doing it.

Costumes costing money I've always thought was bullshit though. Should be more of a way saying thank you to your consumers.

honestly i prefer the dlc system over them cranking out marvel vs capcom 3: megaman turbo edition. it still sucks dick (what happened to companies fully completing their games before releasing them?) but its the lesser of two evils

honestly i fucking hated mvc2 because it's so fucking button mashy there is no strategy besides choosing your characters and knowing your moves in a way to just endlessly pound the enemy with your pushing every button at once while rotating the control stick prowess

and mvc 2/mvc is a carbon copy of street fighter 3 with more characters and an awesome twist in gameplay

after i played marvel vs capcom 3 i got worse at brawl because i kept hitting buttons too quickly

played it yesterday

its fun for a few hours but its pretty messy/too busy at times. the hyper combos are stupidly overpowered to the point of hilarity

also they made viewtiful joe the worst character wtf!!
