okay so i picked up FL studios 8 again, out of sheer boredom.
I made 5 "songs" already, the reason why i put songs in quotes is because they're more tests than actual songs.
First try:

Second try:

then i was told that i use too many chromatics, so i did this:

and then testing some stuff, making this:

and finally, today i made this short little "song", which i actually like:

Criticism, help or anything else is appreciated thanks!!
Haha, lol, they're actually quite decent. I liked the first two. And the the last one can be pretty good, if you make the choir more darker and deeper. The pitch you've used is way too high imho.
Me no get it.... it sounds to random for me.
If you play all the mp3's at the same time its pretty cool though.
it is not very complete sounding as i'm sure you know
they do sound fairly random, and that's probably because it seems like you try to develop something and then just end it. try making something that you like and sticking with it a little bit, and instead of changing the melody so much, add a counter-melody or change the beat in some way. at this point there is nothing really wrong with being a little repetitive, and it sort of sounds like you're trying to avoid that. just trying making an actual song with an ending and some sort of developed riff or melody. right now they all just sound like 30 second or less long demos
