what assange has leaked - especially recently - is not even close to the magnitude of america's most notable leaked documents, the "pentagon papers", which essentially proved johnson lied about vietnam and kept america there and let tens of thousands of our soldiers die mostly because a US loss would be "embarrassing".

calling assange a terrorist and demanding his execution for leaking some petty diplomatic cables is nothing short of fear mongering and post 9/11 propaganda. if assange was an american, he'd be more of a patriot than any of these pathetic politicians who can't imagine being held accountable for their own actions begging for him to be locked up or killed.

assange, wikileaks, and the people who leak the documents are heroes, champions of the first amendment and free speech, and the biggest threat to the government establishment in decades. we need people like them to keep people in power in check. without them, they will feel like they can get away with anything. and they have been recently, so that's why they hate wikileaks. if you buy into their anti-wikileaks propaganda, you're just proving how much power they really have. you're pretty much their mouthpiece, which is exactly what they want.

chances are you are thinking he is a threat to national security or something along those lines, and i'll explain why this is crap in more detail but i have to go for now

you realize there's been absolutely no proof of any of these leaks leading to the deaths of any single person? Whereas the leaks provided have shown deaths of innocents in the 10's of thousands? You really think the government should have that kind of power? To sweep all those deaths under the rug? Why even bother having freedom in any decision making in this country? We only get to make decisions based on what the government wants us to? Sure we can let the people decide on this stuff but we don't want them having any say in these because they might not like it but we need to do it anyway. If the government thinks it knows whats good for us and our nation and conducts these practices in secret, what's the point of us even having a democracy? Thank god the government still let me vote for my favorite new Mountain Dew flavor. Shits tasty god bless america+Pepsi CoDont tread on usFreedom isn't free

All the shit leaked here happened similarly during the cold war the government shouldnt give a shit when they have plausible deniability, media control and justification.

As for proof that this information hasn't cost life there is no way of ever knowing if it did or didnt in clandestine matters.
