Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go-go.

Please do not wake me up.

... dear God.

Either Bill Nye's brand of humor doesn't really translate well to more controversial topics like Climate Change Denial and the Automation of the Workforce, or he's basically fine with embarrassing himself in order to get his message across.

I actually agree with quite a bit of what the show says, for the record. It just baffles me that people like him believe that stuff like this is the only way people will actually listen to them.

The Gallery / the noise made by meal

Starting up an art thread. I don't really have much to go off of, and my technical skill ain't the best, but hey.

This was a Gurren Laggan that I made for an art show hosted by a school group (that somehow managed to be accepted, and lied uncomfortably next to canvas paintings of flowers in vases). Looking at it now, pose doesn't really seem to have much balance, and some of the smaller details look kind of off. I still kind of like it, though, since despite really being my first time drawing a robot of this detail, I think it came out decently.

Was an attempt at replicating the Gravity Falls Art Style.

Satsuki from Kill la Kill. Colors are a bit off-putting, now that I really look at it.

That's all I got for right now. I'm hoping to do a lot more stuff after I get done with finals. I also finally got mailed a copy of Samantha Yousseff's "Movement and Form" book, so here's hoping where that takes me.

Introductions / this should be interesting
December 2, 2015 02:12 AM
Ok, so hi. Decided to join here after watching an rtil Picarto stream one day. I guess this place could provide some good critique about my work, since I'm afraid I've growing somewhat unable to really identify flaws in my drawings lately.

Anyway, Nice to meet y'all. I go by MeAlguien. (name is grammatically incorrect spanish, btw. I based it somewhat off of an inside joke between my cousin and I). I like drawing cute weeb shit, listening to indie music, and occasionally playing the video games. I also have a pretty dumb sense of humor. Hope things go well for me out here in these parts.
