You're gonna be surprised by this addition. The track of a 2010's mobile game.

I have fond memories of The Sandbox Evolution, and one of those was the soundtrack, specially, the main theme and one of the tracks of the normal sandbox mode.

I like the second one, the calm it produce that piano and chorus, kind of reminds me of one of the creative mode tracks of Minecraft belonging to C418 second album, only without the "mood versatility" of that OST.

The main menu theme is perfect, another comparation with Minecraft's OST is the presence of the handpad which to everyone who played that game will remember the track "Aria Math"

The Sandbox Evolution was a fun little game to spent the time. Too bad that the developers abandoned, and deleted the game from app stores and use the name "The Sandbox" for a cryptoscam game. I should have suspected when remembering the shit ton of collaborations with brands and movie promotions, but actually, it was because the dev, Pixowl, was bought by another company around 2020. A fate worst than death.

From a long time, I wanted to draw Ruby as a hot Vampiress for Halloween. this piece was made for a Halloween theme collab on Newgrounds for OCs and this was the perfect moment for doing this.

The background was made later this day.

QuoteIts usually the tracker modplug or keygen stuff that have that hidden gem vibe to them as tracker music is lesser known -- At least I think so.
Funny to think about that. people know what's chiptune, but a lot of people don't know that it has a common origin with keygen music.

Alright, I know i put a song in another language but this is the song I really hate. the worst romantic salsa you can ever hear, bland and with very awful lyrics.

I'm gonna give an extract of the lyrics translated, this is the rap section of the featuring artist "Farruko":

I put the bullet in and I don't miss

What I feel is pure

Like the coke in Medallo

And I'm not Pablo1

But you know what I'm talking about

That if you're gonna play with fire

But the devil's gonna take you away
2

You got me sick

Like a drugged user

I've got a vice for you

Eating you is necessary

Every day
3

I swear I can't stand the urge

And I'm gonna hit you hard

Like Chris used to hit Rihanna
4

1,2,& 3: you got a couple of not-so-subtle references to Pablo Escobar and a awful analogy to "love someone" with drugs

4: Yeah, Chris Brown love Rihanna so hard to the point of left her face fucked with his own hand.

I really do not understand how someone of the label or the producers or Victor Manuelle stop to think about this lyrics and say "my fucking god this is atrociously offensive. we are writing a romantic song!"

There's nothing more romantic than remembering the bloodshed, destruction, terror and social damage provoked by the Medellín Cartel and his leader that still feel in Colombia today and the rest of Latin-America with the Narco-Culture and domestic abuse!

Quote from: rtil on October 20, 2024 04:06 PMi have no reason to make a DOOM map nor do i know anything about doing it, but that looks neat. the DOOM modding community has done a lot of crazy stuff with the engine over the years.

Making a Doom map is ridiculously easy, just get Doom Builder, the base .wad file, and you have it. well, it's more than that very narrow description. because it's easy to compile a map, what's hard is to make a map that doesn't suck ass.

I myself made a Doom map months ago, while it's not functional I wanted to show it.

While it looks very nice, I made the mistake of starting with an advance map format, being GZDoom UDMF Instead of vanilla or a Limit-Removing format like Boom. maybe in the future I will make a decent map, this time being more complete and not just a visual test.

Had fond memories of this place and surprised that it was brought back.

Doesn't surprised me that Rtil is famous in other places. I also saw that he has comics, but they are not easily accessible right now. maybe I'm wrong.

Quote from: Void on October 18, 2024 01:07 AMBefore you jump in the deep end and put something online, experiment with making something locally and hosting it on your own machine. Lets you learn without any of the strings and limitations that come with setting up something on a hosted server.

Docker and XAMPP are the ones I've personally used before (with XAMPP being what I use to serve to the rest of my LAN). XAMPP is going to be pretty similar to what you'd encounter in most web services, since Apache is like 40% of the normal web.

Perfect, thanks

Here is my second post:
Domain -- 32.99 1 year (Godaddy)
Webspace -- 15.99 1 month (Godaddy) (100 GB storage, 1 website)

There are far cheaper services like HostGator
Hostgator costs 12.00 per month for:
10 websites
10 GB SSD storage

You can shop around, your mileage may vary.

I went with Godaddy in a pinch one christmas, after I got hacked and my friend would no longer host me; I just needed the space and I'm not fussed with things like php, wordpress, cgi-bin, all that stuff I don't really need. (If you don't want to get hacked, don't advertise your website in an irc channel topic in 2014, or any year really) :)

https://www.xdcc.eu/search.php?searchkey=for+dummies (IRC XDCC channels).

You will need a client like mIRC for the last one. You can also use IRC to find libgen resources.
I'd include a protip suggesting you take any of the publishers listed and search their book titles.
In the links above, but that's a no brainer; you get the idea.
Libgen is a free library I learned about on reddit.

I think that's the end of my second post.
-I don't condone piracy or torrenting, so buy books/media whenever you can.
-None of these resources are going to mean anything, if you don't do anything.
-Do stuff; Do stuff whenever you can, preferably when you are bored, and return to it later, after you aren't. Creatively do stuff

That last tip is really important; Make the time to do stuff; and you will be rewarded.
It is really hard to do stuff in this reward seeking, validation prone internet of today.
Even if your output is utter shit, just remember to return to it one day

And I think that's it from me for now.

P.S. NEW LINK: This is probably one of the better free guided resources available to learn and covers JScript and HTML, most of the things you mentioned.

Thanks for all the help, man. I really appreciate it.
