Hello TBA. I'm working on a self-made indie animated series called Cherry Rogue.
It follows the titular Cherry, a spyninjabandit-goober who stole a classified scroll and must sneak it out of a foreign country alive.

I started the series on Jan 23rd, with a short music video of an old RedMongoose song I love. It won 1st place at Newgrounds' Pixel Day contest.
https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/1015956

I am currently working on the 2nd episode, which hopefully should be finished by the end of next month.

Any further updates about this series will be forwarded here, to my Newgrounds page, or my YouTube channel

There's also the "world" size. At that size, there' no caves, no exploration, just a tiny island, and IMO that feels less like Minecraft and more like something that could be shaped into a standalone experience. Perhaps you could sail to other randomly generated islands. Think Sea of Thieves meets No Man's Sky.

Looks impressive, but I feel it'd be tough to expand into a full game that's both fun and not just a novelty.

Love the linework.

I think these would have to be my favourites

I spent all of Valentines Day creating 9 partially complete songs and released it under the "BeepBoxClock" moniker.

The first three tracks were made last night after midnight, and the rest were made within the afternoon and evening, both batches on the 14th in Australian time.

This is sort of like a challenge I heard of years ago where you make an album and all its songs in a day. I can't remember what it was called.

Post more frequently, make more stuff, and not so late. Also my old username (separate from display name) still says "Anonymous-Frog", so that needs to be updated.

We can discuss more details on Discord: but to summarize:

- either you or Zekey send me the entirety of any surviving Flash or raw footage of the movie.
- I fill in the gaps, animate in Zekey's style to the best of my abilities.

- For music, I can ask RedMongoose for permission (to keep his work), or use music made by myself or Tom_FJM (whichever fits)

- My animated clips can still be used in your videos.
- You get a credit in the film.

Congrats nuac. I saw the "Manufactured punishment" video and I'm afraid I've been outbid. B)

I wanted to restore and complete the film as faithfully as possible so that it may fully see the light of day.

Kirbopher recently released to his Super Mario RPG animation Rawest Forest

What are your thoughts on this remake vs the original? Has your opinion on Kirbopher changed over the years (if applicable)?

Quote from: rtil on October  8, 2023 06:39 PMi still think it's so funny that deviantart shows my account as "deactivated" when i am in fact banned

pixel art is pretty cool btw

Thank you. I haven't really made much with pixel art since I started drawing and animating (for real and not with MS Paint.)
I did download PixelTools (through the Wayback Machine) so I can use it alongside Flash 8, but didn't do much with it.

Move aside! I've got a whole dumptruck full of old art, sketches, etc. Some of it coming from last year.

Our very own Allie (July 2023, look at those motion tweens)

Some mario pixalert (March 2023)

Monsters of yesteryear (sketched in early 2023)

Solo band rehearsal (Sketch done in Jan 2023)

Foot practice from last year.

WHOAH! (June 2022)

Pallid Fingers, colourised (MS Paint doodle from April 2022)

Until I can dig through some old hard drive, that's as far as it gets without it becoming too stinky.

Let's say one of your favourite musicians (such as one from the 60s, 70s, 80s, or even today) randomly got transported back in time to around 1723 to 1823 (ie. late-Baroque / Classical era), and have to make new music using what's available at the time.

Would they be able to adjust to their new culture, and how would other people (and composers) react to the music they create?

Quote from: nuac_ on October  5, 2023 12:28 AMU just summon "ruffle.js" from the ruffle folder which has a bunch of scripts in it.

I was watching bits of polipetide from here and thought that'd be really cool instead of downloading every single swf for it

I'm not fussed so dont do it right away lol!!!!

Same. I installed an extension for Ruffle, so even if the site didn't prompt Ruffle, the browser would.
That, and it lets you download SWF files (like those clips) in just two clicks.
