Sometime in middle school, I think when Trigun was still airing for the first time in the US.
This is part of a bigger picture that's more embarrassing because of how anime-influenced I was at the time, but whatevs!

here is art from 2000/2001


so to update it I did what i do in all of my modern art

smudge brush everything
cover it in filters so it looks less digital (yet more digital for irony purposes)
give it pseudo-dark color corrections so it has a vaguely gothic look so i look deep and talented
make it splotchy because i have the motor skills of an infant and cant really paint

add a few lighting effect layers on top and voila:

this could easily be a piece in my portfolio i am so proud

oh shit i fucked up i forgot to cleverly sneak my 'symbol' watermark thing in there so dirty internet thieves dont steal my art and make it their droid backrounds OH NO
