are they like pets or somethin

kind of. they have holes on their left, right, back, top and bottom and you can add appendages to them to do certain tasks, like carry groceries or shoot guns. they all look a little different when they're empty though cuz they all propel themselves in different ways. they are leashed though because they are curious and can run away or get lost by accident

some people only use them for what they need, other people like piper (the girl in the pic) treat them nicer like friends or pets.

sometimes i draw a "stick figure" outline of the pose i wanna do, but i've been doing figures for so long now i can usually just start drawing them. but only women really, although it took years of gesture drawing to be able to do it. and if i stop doing life drawing i get rusty. i try to go a few times a month to keep up practice. the only reason i can do it is because of years of life drawing
