Noooooooooo, not Freetown!

And there's nothing wrong with the pretty dusk-ness in a lot of your works~ It was just an observation of your calling card of sorts. Your dusk blend of colors look very much like the real thing instead of "slap colors together and there you go"; It made me wonder if you see sunsets a lot to get it down pat. I know a friend of mine often "steals colors" from sunsets every few days with her digital camera by taking pictures and using the eyedropper tool since there're a bunch of colors I believe we overlook unless we actually look at them carefully.

rtil

oh i understand what you mean. but i do need to vary my outdoor lighting situations more often

this is a pretty bad thing to do, she should do a photostudy painting instead to see how to get these colours instead of just eyedropping em. you dont really learn anything that way

Whoa... Never heard of a photostudy painting! How do those work? Is it basically a painting of the photo?

(And pardon the sudden hijacking, rtil.)

lenko

pretty much yeah. they help out a lot especially with colours/contrast/volume

a lot of people miss the point and just use eyedropper though

It looks like it came a ways from what rtil posted, but it looks sooooo nice~

lenko

that does look really nice. the character animations remind me of how darkstalkers looked (as in characters' bodies warping for each move)

I like how the shading of the characters change based on the atmosphere.
Filia's movements are really smooth too :]

then again, sorry for that question
