ooh ya ive seen that one stusader. that's kind of the idea i had in mind, although it won't be the road bending up, it will be a sort of space elevator .

I'm going to honest, while I don't remember if that's answered or not in the show, the left a lot of open ends. I ended up reading the manga when I was done, which isn't too long (but is technically still ongoing).
