makes me think of lost in translation

my idea is that a timeline from groundhog day and homura's life crossed over just once in an alternate universe in japan, hence the lost in translation vibe (they're in japan). so they're discussing both of their predicaments over dinner after they both discover they are reliving the same time period and have been doing so for a long time

This may come a little late, but Kyubey made it obvious what the raw sketch was depicting... I didn't recognize Murray, tho.

Anyway, nice, you finally watched it... took you long enough.
The two drawing styles are really clashing but I don't think that is a negative point or something to complain about and anyone who has watched it will know what I'm talking about.
The reference is pretty nice, although again, some knowledge about the series is required in order to understand it.
Kyubey still creeps me out but that strictly frontal perspective does look a little weird as the chairback he's stitting on is clearly angled.
But all in all I really like it.

thanks the colors were what i needed to use to convey that so i was hoping it would come through. usually i already have conveyed something with just the linework so it was challenging

I get the feeling it would have a stronger punch if the pic was rotated 90 degrees clockwise....Idk I just keep turning my head because I want to focus on a side and look up or down rather than try to see what's going on the sides but cant because its sitting longways.
