'if they're old help them get down'
'treat them with respect'
'when he cleans himself say good job'
'clean out their ears'
'don't trap them in the laundry basket' (i think i remember doing that)
'if they hate fans turn the fan off'
'don't interrupt them when they're eating'
'if their breath stinks give them greenies'
'let them drink out of the sink'
'don't vacuum if it scares him'


I find myself really surprised remembering that I've done some of these. 'if there's a bird outside say HEY LOOK!' 'pretend that they're a piano' 'read him a book'
