As a whole, or just what you've read, or just the last book or whatever.

I say mostly plus, with some little minuses.

I think the boos are over all good, they are pretty funny and yet they have a good story line going as well. some of the characters seem a bit flat, but over all I'd say the series is pretty good. a solid A from me.

while i do enjoy the trailer of the movie i have to say that it doesn't come close to watching the opening sequence of "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air". Will Smith is a very good actor in that show and the song in the intro, especially the extended version seen in the first 3 episodes, is very hooking and soothing. You can sing along after watching it just 2 or 3 times, depending on how good you are on remembering lyrics. But with this song it should be very simple for anyone.

About the characters, I think that Will is a pretty much flawless character. He has a lot of funny moments in the show and when he has to be serious, he is. Carlton on the other hand is a little bit flawed. He always tries to be funny, which he, most of the time, is. But all these funny scenes, when thinking about them, ruin serious scenes including Carlton, like the time Jay died while Bungee Jumping and proposing to Hilary, which resulted in his death because the rope was too long. Carlton's face in that situation, despite having a serious expression, couldn't be taken serious.
The exact difference comes into play with Phil. While he is mostly a very straight forward character, his funny scenes lack something.

The last episode of "The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air" made me sad.
