this is SO true. raster backgrounds > vector backgrounds. but if you must have a vector background. just make sure they're cached before-hand, or there might be a little lag when they first appear (if they're large).

and if they're moving in the flash, use _quality="BEST" (AS2, don't know the AS3 script). That'll assure that flash uses anti-aliasing, making even raster images move smoothly.

her foot is over this little bit of grass i dunno if you meant to do that or not . the background is the best part and you don't do them often so it is nice to see that
