Streetfighter Chode! (have an issue)

Hi, Sorry I haven't posted in a while been animating. So Well the big flash is finally going up and now were trying to compile it. Ive got a 30 MB usage for NG and This flash Ive got at like 27 Mbs. But even then so Ive had to remove 3 important skits from the flash just to get it to fit. Along with this problem, The coding is all fucked and not responding to some specific commands. Ive smoothed everything out, Removed unused frames, and even compressed and saved everything but still we are having issues compiling this pitch. A "second" part is not an option. This HAS to be 1 flash. If anyone could give some tips on lowering my Mbs and getting the other 3 - 4 skits to fit would help immensely.

in the publish settings you should check the option for generating a size report. find the biggest offenders in size , whether it be vector drawings, bitmaps, sounds, etc. focus on minimizing those in size. you could also try reducing audio quality, but again, i don't know what's bloating hte size of your swf. 27mb is ridiculously huge. if you can't get it down at least by half, i would consider allowing people to begin using it while it's preloading instead of staring at it until it's 100% done. in this day and age people are just not patient enough for that

My good friend Spazkid (known here as ChainsawDentist) has made being an asshole into an art. Also on board we've got guest animator Hulalaoo and doing voices we've got me and DruoxtheShredder. This isn't some shit we just slapped together. This is fucking big.

If all else fails you could just find a 3rd-optimizing application. I hear those can reduce the size of swfs to 70% less, but I haven't used or heard good reports from them. Just an idea you might want to look into.
