i've been having this problem for the last week or so. my laptop just keeps shutting down without warning. I know it's not a problem with the battery or charger because i got those replaced 4 months ago and my laptop has been plugged in every time it has randomly shut off. the first time it happened i was playing tf2 and I assumed the computer overheated, but it keeps occurring even when i'm just doing mundane tasks. i dont know if its overheating or if there's a virus or if there's some serious hardware issue. does anyone have any suggestions? :[
my computer is a macbook from 2007 running 32 bit windows 7 with 1 GB RAM

it sounds like a heat issue. try propping up your laptop while using it so that the ventilation underneath has an escape route

There might be something inside shorting out. I had this problem with a computer I built into a CRT monitor. I ended up frying on of the RAM slots.

Dose it properly shut down or dose it just turn off?

it just shuts off. i think the problem is overheating. a lot of macs, especially the older ones, are notorious for getting really hot. i've already started backing up all my shit because im expecting this thing to die any day now

rtil

is it a macbook air?

shura

no no its just a regular macbook from 2007

You should get a cooling pad. It plugs right into usb. Its worth getting.
