Nintendo is completely unable to make any sort of AI that is at all efficient or believable.
Fight a level 9 AI. This is supposedly the best AI Nintendo can make. It has absolutely no tactics, and doesn't even use edge-guarding. For instance, if I'm using Olimar and can't recover, the AI will jump off its ledge, allowing me to recover and kill it.
Furthermore, the only things it can do are all thanks to automatic timing, the most bat-**** insane thing Nintendo has ever done to AI. If you use a quick, multi-hit attack, the AI will automatically perfect shield the first hit and grab you before the second starts-- something no human player can consistently do. It seems like you're facing AI that knows the exact amount of frames and size of hitboxes of every single move in the game and can recall each one before even a single frame in-game has passed.
Fact: The AI can perfect shield Jigglypuff's Rest, the fastest move in the game. It doesn't just do that because Jigglypuff gets close -- it only does it when the player tries to use Rest. The AI can perfect shield a literally unpredictable attack.
Even worse, it knows exactly how long to charge attacks. If I'm facing Pit and he's going to use an arrow, he'll only ever hold it when I try to block, in which case he'll hold the arrow until the precise moment I let go of the shield button. This will also hold true for dodges and smash attacks. Hell, if I roll up from a ledge, the moment I input the command, the "articificial intelligence" will instantly turn around and use a smash attack on the exact spot I'll end up when it goes through.
Really, Nintendo? How filthy can you get? The best AI you can make relies on nothing but automatic timing and all-knowingness. It also doesn't help that the AI in Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver chooses completely random and terrible attacks, but somehow knows exactly what moves to use or when to switch-- because again, Nintendo makes their AI so that it knows what the player is about to do. Yeah those lazy faggots can't make a game. I know because I saw a few images online. Game reviewers and one of the world's top gaming development companies don't know squat compared to my resources.

Melee, the land of fast paced metagames! I hate melee. With a burning passion. Why? It was basicly the first person to start a combo, and then they won. Yay? Not only that, it was so impossibly hard to play competitivly that only die hard fans would consider it worth it to put in the amount of effort it took to place decently at a tourney. Although it was fun for a bit...And it didn't have tripping, it's still a game Im thankful grew old. Brawl. OOOOOOOooooohhhhhIF WE MAIN MK WE WIN! But can you reasonably tell me that if you barely won a 3 set match against, say, a Luigi, that you were really better then that person? No, you weren't. You just had the ridiculously cheap character. I know I sound like an idiot right now, but how much fun is it to main mk, and have a ridiculously easy time doing everything. It's so easy to be good at mk, that I guess it's fun for everyone. I also support the idea of an "S-tier banned" tournament. Without all of the annoying characters in play, we can all have a lot more fun. Not to critizize the S-Tier mains though. I have no problem with someone playing as Wario and skillfully winning. But When you have a nanner spamming diddy, the fun level just went down more then most can take. And also: Is it really THAT much fun to infinity someone with IC's or DDD and call it a day? How much skill does that take? Seriously...At least 64 characters. I don't really care much about stickers or items. I like characters, and 64 of them sounds fuA decent story. This game has the potential to have the best storyline ever written, but I guess we'll have to wait and see if Sakurai will take advantage of that.Balanced. Balanced. Balanced.Bring back old characters that would have made brawl twice as fun. (Pichu, the doc, Roy, Mewtwo)Bai bai tripping.

Look who's talking. You play Jigglypuff, who is ranked higher on the tier list, but tiers are for queers. I am not delusional. I know that Falcon is potentially powerful. It's just really hard to find that power. He may not be able to beat Llamacario, Mewtwo, or Magikarp - also known as the gods of smash - but Falcon still owns.
