You probably can't tell but the head is chock full of maggots.



It's safe to assume the entire thing is full of maggots, 2 more days and I might be able to collect the skull.

Day 5

A little rain never hurt anyone or their camera.



The maggots are warm and dry.

...And I'm curious if you've touched any of those fellas throughout this whole ordeal. They're so teeny-tiny and squishy-lookin'.

I'm sure I would feel different about it in person, but when they're not squirming and being gross, I just kinda wanna poke at em...

Day 6

The Squirrel seems to just be flesh and bone now, with a bit of hair too, but that'll be gone soon enough.



It's full of a new batch of maggots, which I refuse to touch.

The days no longer matter, as I have initiated the harvest.



Soon I will have a largely intact Squirrel skull, after the appropriate amount of time, of course.
