there really is no big revalation we are waiting for here - the "big bang" is not the beginning of the universe as we know it. as far as science is concerned, matter is eternal, and it can expand and contract. what we don\\\'t know is whether the universe is expanding or contracting, and what cycles it goes through. we also don\\\'t know the shape of the universe or if there are more than one of them.

the real smoking gun scientists are looking for is the "missing link". a full fossil record of the evolution of man. but even then, you know religion will drag its knuckles along with the rest of the world forever.

if you're talking about islam all you have to do is look at what it's become and it doesn't take long to figure out that didn't last so long

at what its become? the religion is still the same, its the great majority of the people that have become that which youre probably referring to (not so intelligent anymore) but they dont represent the religion they represent a big society and there is a difference

it's human nature to look for answers and question things, but religious people don't question the existence of god which to me is really weird.
