best book(s) you have ever read?

I really like catch-22 as well

as much of a kurt vonnegut fan as i am (i even named my dog vonnegut!!) i think slaughterhouse five is one of my least favorites. and franny and zooey is one of those stories that you cant go into unless youve decided you dont need resolution to the plot. its very situational and i wish i had known that before i had read it. i came into it with too much expectation

I haven't read any of vonnegut's other novels so it may very well be my least favorite of his as well

but uh, no resolution to the plot in franny and zooey? wouldn't you agree that the ending scene is a teeny bit cathartic?

battle royale is a really nice book. i like to read it and open to the covers and look at the map as i go along
