"trolling" is essentially a newer term for "flaming". it usually consists of an argument which isnt actually an argument (ie fallacies thrown back and forth between two parties), or one user or group being the butt of an unfunny joke.

in order to become successful at trolling you forget all traditional rules of debate and stick to such clever terms as "u mad?" (self-explanatory) and "heh" (which suggests you don't care). there are more trolling terms but those are the ones that are popular here so you're better off sticking with those.
