the comic really isnt that great
its unique and gathered a huge fanbase because of it
its sorta just "ok" but its not bad

im glad that edgar wright is directing this
mostly because it sorta fits his type of films that mix genres together, like Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz
anyways more and more good things are coming from the film and before i had sorta really low expectations for it and other than the tagline i think i have some hope for it

i think he'll balance the action and romantic comedy a lot more than the books do, especially if he's covering all six

i mean with the books you usually get 10 pages of action/fighting and then the other 200 are just slice of life 'college dropout band guy' stuff

Yeah I remember how the action in the first book came out of fucking NOWHERE, particularly the magic stuff and how suddenly Scott Pilgrim has always been the best fighter in Toronto, when reading, I was like "wtf what???"
