psuedo intellectuals are gay but that has nothing to do with philosophy. they might quote it all the time and try to act like they are now all-knowing, but that doesnt affect the usefulness of the class itself

i think the class is pretty important because there are so many things that we dont think about in life because we just accept them/try to ignore them because they're hard questions. there are also a lot of things that we dont think about fully, so our beliefs can be self-contradictory. this entire class's point is to make people think about their ideas, evaluate them and then, with other people, determine if they could possibly be true. i've been forced to change a lot of my beliefs on things because they simply didnt make any sense
