Personally, I think the Facebook episode may be my favorite episode this season so far. Also:

QuoteBut I think there's also another statement they're trying to make: make one thing legal and people will just find a new addiction and create a new black market. That's an arguable point, but one to give some thought.

This reviewer is a fucking dumbass and should rewatch the Tale of Scrotie McBoogerballs episode to learn why it's fucking stupid to try to find hidden meaning that apply to your ideology.

200th episode is filled with references from old episodes
good episode but its not an episode someone would tune into and understand whats going on unless theyve seen their best eps

emanhattan

i hate when in tv, in any show, they air episodes that are just parts from old episodes this sucks even more if you have already seen such episode AND the episodes.

its just making an entire new episode out of recycled bits in "flashbacks" etc.

trent bortknob

the message was kind of obvious but at the same time since i've seen most of those episodes i got most of the jokes

i just didn't really like the whole lidea of bringing back characters and previous ideas. i know they're not just being hacks but it still made the episode less fun to watch. like the whole part jennifer lopez/mitch connor

psi43

oh fucking hell that episode was probably the best episode of south park - entirely - so far.

This might be super gay but i grew up with that mr.hat, cartman's dad, barbara straisand, jokes about kyle being a jew and jokes about cartman being fat stuff.

That episode was just filled with nostalgia from top to bottom, i can't believe it. I really, REALLY can't wait for next week's episode. Knowing trey and matt, they don't even know themselves who cartman's father is tho.

I already had a feeling that they would, instead of the 200th episode, make an episode about terrence and phillip, but that didn't happen. Now what we have is the same situation we had in season 1 and 2, the revelation of cartman's father. And due to nostalgia's sake, it would fit PERFECTLY to have another "not without my anus" episode next week, but we'll see.

either way, as i said, freaking amazing episode, probably the best of all so far.

lenko

it was alright. the muhammad jokes probably got the most laughs from me

nah. knowing trey and matt, they probably won't even continue from the cliffhanger

coming from someone who hadn't seen a single episode of south park until 2009 the episode doesn't stand on its own very well

it is generally known that south park mocks celebrities, you dont need to have seen every episode to get that. as for the other stuff like the superbestfriends and the jennifer lopez hand, they explain it good enough for you to understand what its about.
plus: its funny

CoolDrMoney

I actually really enjoyed the ep. Muhammed in the bear costume was pretty great. But the nod to all the older South Parks was nice. But yea if you didnt watch the old south park then the episode will seem pretty weak.

Wade is not gay, read his profile! It's sad that you would use sexual orientation as a joke, shows that you have no real sense of humor.

well no shit of course they make fun of celebrities but that's not the point. as far as the jennifer lopez hand thing - i have no clue what that's about. all i could gather from that is that cartman had some outburst of multiple personality disorder. the bottom line is the episode is less funny when you haven't followed south park's history. i probably would have appreciated it more if that were true. to me, it's nothing special and a subject they've already touched on (double standard on religion and censorship), and the last time they did it it was much more funny and effective. it's just as relevant, but they're not doing anything new with it as far as i can tell.

being random does not always equal being funny. you throw in every joke you've already done and you've got a re-hash episode. might be a treat for long time fans, but doesn't do much as far as keeping the show fresh and interesting.

Watch 705, Fatt Butt and Pancake Head. You won't really know more than before though, but that's the episode Jenifer Lopez is from.

creamcorn

all you need to know about the jennifer lopez hand is in that last episode: people think its the real jennifer lopez and you dont really know if cartman is just doing the voice or if his hand really is an individual personality

rtil

i wasn't expecting that

Since I have seen every South Park episode, I really enjoyed it. However, if I have only seen a few episodes, I wouldn't have given a shit about it and not find it very funny.

i miss the first seasons of south park where kenny died in every episode in a different way

i don't because that joke got tired as fuck

i've noticed kenny is in the episodes significantly less these days though

The fact Kenny didn't say a single word in the 200th episode kinda bugged me. At least the creators of South Park usually make at least one Kenny based episode every season with those episodes being some of the highlights of those seasons. Examples: Best Friends Forever (season 9), Major Boobage (season 12), and The Ring (season 13).

Casey Pixmintro

That's not every season... Also, there's still 9 more chances this season for them to do something with Kenny.
