Electricity. Now this might sound uninspired but in reality it isn't. I've loved that ability before i saw Enel in One Piece or Railgun in Toaru Kagaku no Railgun. It's amazing.

Imagine all the things you could do if you were able to control electricity. You wouldn't just be able to control the flow of current or shoot sparks and stuff like that, no, you would also be able to manipulate electromagnetism. With that being said, basically everything on this planet has metal in it. The human body, pretty much any piece of clothing (even if not noticeable), obviously anything in the household and cars, even the air has metal particles in it, sand, dust, anything really. That would give one the ability, if good enough, to even levitate or fly, walk up walls, anything like that basically.

The human brain also functions with electricity, very small amount of volts and current but nevertheless, it would be very influenceable by that as well.

So all in all, i'd say that would be one of the greatest abilities one could posses.

I use lightning most often as a video game ability whether it be star wars, pokemon, or final fantasy just because Im most fond with it.
lightning is the most badass element of any video game.

I want a big drill that manipulates protons and electrons without tearing them apart so I could drill holes through things without shooting debris behind me or making noise

would it be invisible or would it actually be a visible giant drill
