okay i'm not sure if anyone here knows the answer to that question but it's something i've been wondering about for a long time now.

the episode "scott ternoman must die" is listed as episode 501 (season 5 episode 1) in the official episode guide

yet, the episodes "it hits the fan" (502), "Cripple Fight" (503) and "Super Best Friends" (504) predate that episode.

it hits the fan: 06.20.2001
cripple fight: 06.27.2001
super best friends: 07.04.2001
scott ternoman must die: 07.11.2001

i don't get why scott ternoman must die isn't 504, it hits the fan 501, cripple fight 502 and super best friends 504 then

does anyone here happen to know?

sometimes i lie in my bed and ask myself- how many oranges do i have?
I know it's a pretty simple question, and it can be resolved pretty quickly, but every time i get up, i remember that i need to do something else, and unfortunately, i have NO time to check on my oranges.

nope, not even to eat them.

so, i would have walked off and forgot about this and would have continued my everyday life, but sadly, i am tormented by the thought...

"how many oranges do i have????"

the thought tortures my conscience, so much so that i cannot sleep. so finally, i walked into the kitchen to find how many oranges that i have, but then i discovered that i am terribly far-sighted,
so i tried looking at them close, but it's all just an orange blur! so then i came up with the idea to glance at them from a distance, and unfortunately, i am so far away that cannot tell how many oranges are in the bowl...
5?.....7?........6?

so i come to ask you the question- HOW MANY ORANGES DO I HAVE??????
