i remember the main reason smith didnt do the movie years ago was that nickelodeon wanted to add britney spears to the soundtrack in order to gain funding

now the soundtrack is hardly a concern considering the whole production is being fronted by someone who thinks tom and jerry have a 'sibling rivalry'
