Well not just that, there weren't 500 some pokemon back then. Like honestly, how do they expect someone to actually try and get all 500. I mean 151 difficult in its own, it jsut defeats one of the major achievements of the game by making it almost unattainable.

Have you not played any of the new ones? At all?

Wait do you actually play to try and collect all the animals instead of building a robust team of specialty bred monsters for the intent of kicking peoples asses with them?

MY GOD MAN.

yeah honestly i dont know anyone that actually tries to catch every single one. when i was in school we only cared about getting rare ones and leveling them up

Well yeah I generally just build the best team I can get, but you'd think they'd make the flagship objective of the game somewhat obtainable.
I tried once and said fuck it at like 40.

lenko

do you even get anything for catching all the pokemons these days

hell even in red/blue it was a shitty certificate
<emanhattan> i remember pingu ice cream
<emanhattan> it was a better time
<emanhattan> when the penguins were cold and delicious
<emanhattan> and i knew i was gonna be
<emanhattan> consequence free

creamcorn

in saphire/emerald you could get 5 stars, one for defeating all trainers, winning the league, catching all pokemon etc.
and when you get all 5 stars idk what happens maybe another certificate from prof. oak?
