A 9-year-old boy got in trouble for bringing a 2-inch plastic Lego toy gun to school in Staten Island, New York City. He was nearly suspended for the toy he played with at lunch, and the mother of the boy, who calls the principal a coward, may sue.

Meanwhile, 12-year-old Alexa Gonzalez was arrested for the doodling of her desk with a marker at her middle school in Queens. She wrote down stuff like "Lex was here. 2/1/10" and a smiley face. She's still suspended from the school.
