i'll start with some bands i've been listening to lately --

Dear Hunter
Anamanaguchi
Crystal Castles
Arctic Monkeys
Elbow
Kaskade

personally i prefer electronic/rock/indie type shit but i like most things as long as they're melodic. i'm more drawn to good vocals too

If you like Crystal Castles then you might also like The Knife since many people consider Crystal Castles to be just a more hard edged copy, I dont personally think they, are I wouldn't doubt there influence.

The singers solo stuff under Fever Ray is good too.
