i got team fortress 2 to work again and it runs alot better

my only problem is that the audio is extremely loud and it has very high bass volume

both the music and sound effects are affected

i changed the audio settings but for some reason it didn't work

only thing i can think of is your audio hardware having profiles for different apps, but i've never heard of anything like that

i don't want to add too many as they need to be downloaded, but if you have any really good ones or ideas for sounds that should happen during certain events , gimme the file and i'll see what i can do. almost any action can have a sound attached to it, and i can change the frequency of how often a sound will play, the delay until the sound plays, and who hears it (everyone or just you if it happens to you).

hahahah well before last night, saysounds was installed but i was testing it on random things like crit kills and suicides so i could easily test it. i ended up deleting a lot of the sounds after i tested it, but i left the sound cues in the config file - so if you still had the sounds locally it would try to play them. so some people who came in during the days the sounds were server-side could hear things others couldn't. but now that's all fixed, so no one will think you're crazy
