If you played in the first 3 months of the games release you get a gold, if you played within the first year you get a silver and then everyone else gets a bronze.

TF2's release date is October 10th, 2007 but for some reason they decided to use September 17th, 2007 (the day of the beta release).  Cutting the deadline a week short of an entire month.  A lot of players who's first play dates are close to cut off days feel like they got shorted and started swimming in puddles of their own shit, tears and urine until gabe newell loses some weight and stops being so fucking fat.

why, because I get "timed out" every time I join a server? all I wanted was advice as to how to solve that problem.

i had to reformat my computer today, and i forgot to back up the steam folder with all the downloaded maps and whatnot. and my search for where that one folder with the maps someone posted here (with instructions) is leading nowhere. can someone point me to that post?
